A Letter from the Staff,
As many of you know a lot of changes have happened with the school and the ministry but we are very excited about the program getting ready to start. January 22, 2008 we will launch the GodChasers Mentoring Program where Pastor Tommy Tenney and his wife Jeannie will be personally mentoring young people. His heart and vision is to raise up young people that are passionate and very serious about the call of God on their lives.
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. till 8:30 he will start a teaching on the book of Galatians. He has titled this teaching as Legalism or Liberty, controversy in the New Testament church. He will take us through the book Galatians and help us understand the times and the message of the New Testament Church. This teaching will continue through the month of May.
Thursday, Jan 24, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. till 1:30 will be a lunch class where you can bring your lunch or we will order something, and it will be a very laid back and relaxed setting. In this class we will be going through all of Tommy Tenney's books, each week we will be given one of his books to read or review and then on Thursdays he will share about that book. He will share why he wrote the book, what state of mind he was in while writing the book, where he was when writing it, etc. This will be a time to ask questions.
In addition to this we will have family time, which will be held at the home of the Tenneys on Wednesday nights. As of right now this will take place every other week. This will be a time to become part of a family life group as mentioned above it will be personally lead by the Tenney's. Family times consist of cooking, baking, playing games, fellowshipping, praying, outreaches; the list goes on and on... This is just a time to build relationships with not only the Tenney family but other people being mentored and also the staff of GodChasers.
In addition to this you will also become a part of an office team where you will be assigned to a certain department in our ministry to help you grow administratively and grow spiritually. When the staff feels you have progressed and matured enough there will be possible opportunities to travel with Pastor Tommy.
Lastly there will be NO TUITION, just from January to May. *Registration will start on the week of January 14, 2008 through January 18, 2008. This is also move in date where you will get acquainted with roommates and living quarters.
Pastor Tommy Tenney's vision is to raise up young people who are serious and mature about the calling on their life and the things of God. His heart is to pour into young people and from his own mouth he stated, " I want to be close to those whom I mentor. How would Jesus do it? Sharing Experience as well as knowledge, with no tuition this is a once in a lifetime chance." Pastor Tommy knows alot of amazing men and women of God that visit him and when able he will ask them to speak and disciple each of his Mentoree's. He believes in young people so much and he just wants to see them reach there fullest potential.
