To Tommy Tenney and God Chasers Everywhere;

We search for a closer understanding and walk with God and
I know where you can find God and "catch" Him.

What blocks the way is the word "legalism".   There is a fear we will go further than we have to in worship or following God.  When we are willing to give more of ourselves than most think necessary, then we will feel what we are looking for? that satisfaction that we are what He is looking for.

God is His word.  When we become one with the word as Jesus was, then we will come to the stature of Christ and he was obedient to "every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God".  The glory and power Jesus had was God being faithful to His word spoken through Jesus and the prophets.  God is one with His word.  He cannot go to the right of the left of His word.

Jesus "caught" God.  He became one with the will of God by worshipping and following the word in spirit and in truth.  He was "obedient unto death".  Was that "legalism"?  or just "legal" as opposed to "illegal" and "unlawful, as in lawless"?  We are not called to be lawless or illegal, but faithful to God's word.

Another block to the fullness of God in our lives for "protestant" faiths is that in most "churches", there is no provision, guidance or expectation of bowing before a Holy God.

The Catholics, Orthodox Christians, Buddhists, Muslims and Hindus all bow before what they believe is the place or representation of a Holy God, not so with some "protestant" faiths.  Jesus knew God was greater than he.  Too often we think that Jesus took away the "awe factor" of God when he made God accessible.

Another block for many faiths is that we believe that part of the law of God and the Prophets is not for us (especially in our advanced civilization).  Jesus said, "man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word out of the mouth of God."  I know I repeated here, but it is worthy to be impressed again so we believe it.

God didn't want sin offerings;  He wanted obedience.
The other sacrifices are to keep us in remembrance that He is a Holy God, a Consuming Fire and to be where His presence is is a fearful and wonderful thing?
We must strive for and desire perfection and holiness.  That is what God wants for us.  That is what God has for us.

The harvest of the nations and the repentance of the "church" will come close together.
The Jews have been waiting for a Messiah who would not destroy the law and the prophets.  Jesus in Matthew 5:17  "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets.  I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. Whatever was written concerning him, it was fulfilled in the things he did.
Isaiah 42:21   "he will magnify the law and make it honorable."
Isaiah 8:20     "To the law and to the testimony; if they speak not according     to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Be one with the "Ten Commandments" in Exodus 20 and you transform this world.
Keep His Sabbaths ?  the holy Sabbaths of God's feast days are also a sign
between us and Him that He is our God.

What is the Day of Atonement; but the day God decides who will be cut off from His people and His presence?  It marks a ten day period of repentance after the trumpets on the first day of the month.  Those ten days are called the Days of Awe.   GLORY  TO  GOD !

The Glory of God is waiting for us and is close at hand.
God Bless You.
