Hey everyone, I'm back.
I've just spent the last few weeks in california (I'm from Bradford, England) and it was great. I had a really nice time and met loadsa nice ppl and the youth groups, etc...
I just wanted to let you all know one thing that really surprised me.
On the journey there, I flew with KLM, and the centre/base of all their intercontinental flights is Amsterdam... So, my journey went; Manchester, Amsterdam, and san francisco (and then vacaville, in the car)...
I just wanted to share with you guys just how blindignly obvious the spiritual differences are that you can feel in each country. It has really opened my eyes to the extent of spiritual warfare that is going on everyday and can have such a large impact.
I've lived in England my whole life, so obviously I'm used to how things are here, it was only when I left the country for 2 weeks and came back, did I realise the extent of the spiritual warfare that goes on.
On the flight there, we stopped in Amsterdam, and the spirit there is a kinda dirty one... It's hard to explain, but there's just such an unclean feel about the place spiritually... It isnt too much of a secret that Holland has a real problem with sex, etc... and, dude, that was so apparent when I was there. And I was only in the airport/country for 2 + 1/2 hours...
When we arrived in San Fran, it was again, such a contrast to Amsterdam and England...
There was such a liberty and content feel about the place (and believe me, for me to feel like that, when I aint slept for nearly a day; it's GOTTA be spiritual :P )
Seriously, as soon as I stepped off the plane, there was a peace and such a relaxed feel to the place. It was great.
So, I enjoyed the place for two weeks, and made some really strong links with some really nice ppl, and I was actually just about ready to come home when we did, cos I wanted to see my friends in England again...
Again, on the way back, we changed at Amsterdam, and again, the same, dirty, evil, immoral spirit was there.
Then, when we landed in England, I was so surprised at what I felt. There is such an oppressive, depressing, demoralising spirit...
As soon as we entered the country, I'm serious, it was uncanny how much I noticed the...just... depression that rules in that country...
I'm sure it's no secret in the states that there are loadsa islamic people in England, and thats obviously adding a huge amount to the spiritual cocktail of mess we have going on in this place. Even when I wake up, I gotta speak against the immediate apathy and demoralisation that tries to get on you...and it was nothing like that in America.
The only thing I can conclude is that there are many powerful intrecessors in America, and God's spirit is really moving in that place.
So, I ask, while you're praying for your country (America - for most of you), PLEASE pray for mine. Speak against all the oppressive principalities that rule here. There is no doubt that there is a spiritual link between America and England. This is clear from the relationship of the leaders of our two countries, even down to the fact that when we went to america, and when Americans come to our church, there are always really strong relations build, and just a love towards each other.
I pray for America, often, which has now become every night...
So please, do pray for the christians over here, the non-christians over here, etc... and me

Aaron,
God really used this post of yours to open my eyes to the spiritual warfare going on around the world. I always knew in my head, but now I feel in my heart to really do something about it.
Having never really been anywhere but my lovely home City of the Blue Mountains, I haven't been able to notice that much of a difference in the spirits of places...but I'm considering doing some travel.
Also, I added you to my MSN list...hope to talk to you soon.

You're right on about the spiritual differences that can be felt in various countries. But there are also differences in states. . .cities of various countries. .i know what you're talkin about bcoz i've sensed the difference in spirits when i've been to places. .and really. . the only thing one can do is intercede. .bcoz we wrestle not against flesh and blood. .

This wasn't something I ever thought off, until Wendy Alec co-founder of GOD TV mentioned about Washington. Living in the UK Aaron I'am sure your firmilar with GOD DIGITAL and the soon to be lauched GOD DIGITAL USA in Washington.
I remember Wendy saying about the spirits over Washington and how no-one would ever set up ministry there unless they have been guided too.
And I was saying to my mum, and she mentioned that a friend was flying into Ireland (I'am from Northern Ireland) and she could feel so clearly the evil spirits over Ireland.
