I just read Benny Hinn's book "Good Morning Holy Spirit" and was wondering, has anyone here had such an experience such as Hinn had and has???  It seems biblically sound, however, my reservation is the  focusing on the Spirit rather than Christ  seems, I guess the word would be unusual compared to what I have been taught.  Any thoughts??

It is the Holy Spirit that draws you to Christ. Jesus said no man comes to him except the spirit who sent Him (Jesus) draws them.

It is not so much that the focus is on the Spirit, but He(spirit) is the connection to Jesus.  Before Jesus left he told his disciples that he would not leave them comfortless, but would send to them another comforter (Holy Spirit).  The Spirit leads and guides us into all truth.  Try looking at it as the telephone line to Jesus.  I hope this helps, and welcome other analogies as well.

Hey:

I want to share things that have happened to me.  I believe in the moving of the holy spirit.  Jesus said when he left that he would not leave us without a comforter, that comforter is the holy spirit.  He is our guide.  I have seen and experienced in my own life the work of the holy spirit, there were times when I would feel something inside or in my heart and a few minute later that feeling or thought would come to pass.  I totally believe that God speaks to his people.  Read the book of Acts.  There is many things God did thru people like us to bring healing and so are.  We need the holy spirit to move like that again, this world needs a move of God.  It can and will happen thru people that want to be used of God.  Go back and think about things you have already experienced, you will see they were not just your own thoughts.  It was God.  My pastor has been teaching on the holy spirit and things have been happening, The holy spirit loves to demonstrate his power.  He is the third person in the trinity.  You will see mighty things begin to happen in your life.  The more you invite the holy spirit to guide you and speak to you, you will know the differece between him and the enemy.  Be blessed.  I will pray for you.

God Bless,

GreatGrace

Absolutely, the Holy Spirit is the connection to Jesus. All three Persons of the Godhead are intertwined, each a different facet of Himself, but the same, All-In-One God. ..one of those mysteries we won't fully grasp till we're all in heaven!

The Holy Spirit is the power, the personality and the presence of God Himself: the agent of the Trinity through which He can relate to us in our human flesh. He is the most precious Friend we could ever have!

In Pursuit, Cindy

Cindy I like your interpretation of the Holy Spirit.  He is the agent of the Trinity that promised GIFT Jesus promised he would give to us.  I think of the scripture that says if fathers know how to give good gifts, how much more will the Father give to them who believe.  He gives us the Holy Spirit.  That is the only agent (as you call it) that can dwell within our mortal bodies.

He only relates with our sinful nature because Jesus Christ our mediator and intercessor speaks that he stays in us to lead, guide and direct us.  There is a scripture that says while speaking of the Holy Spirit, that He does not speak of Himself, but whatever he hears he does.  When it all boils down Jesus is the best friend we could ever have.

Hello Beloved,
That is a wonderful book. Yes I have had experiences very much like that and beyond. I have not only seen with my own eyes, I have heard with my own ears the sweet Spirit of God, woo me. God desires intimacy with His people. You draw near to Him... He'll draw near to you...The challenge is living in this sacred place and living a daily life...It is so sweet and beautiful you don't want to leave...So He trains us ( If we let Him ) to carry this with us everywhere... the result is that other people notice this and want it too...If youare grounded in your word Here is the mission field... Like I state in my book" a slave can smell freedom amile away..." We must be living vessels of intimacy and truth so we can reach out our hands and lead the slaves out of their cells. The problem comes when a slave smells freedom and there isn't anyone there to lead them out into the truth into intimacy with the ONE & ONLY... They sit there in their dungeons, the gates wide open.. freedom is a step away and they can't see it... There are millions like this... It is our jobs  to walk the walk... to be under authority.. in line with God's word... to guide the slaves to freedom. Trod on and keeping diving deeper into the Living Waters!

Your Fellow Servant In Christ,
Glory

Glory,

You stated your book.  I love the imagery you used regarding the slave smelling freedom, and not being able to find someone to help them.

Is your book published?

Hello Beloved,
Thankyou for the compliment...My book is in the printers right now and I am in the midst of major mass marketing...My heart is for all.I have a burden for all mankind that consumes me...I may not be able to be there for everyone personally but I believe that through Gods words of love, truth and inspiration...through this earthen vessel...I can reach countless millions and this is my heart. The books title is "Divine Destiny" if you want... e-mail me and I will put you on a list of notification once it is officially available to the public...It will be available internationally I am honored to say.
"May God draw you to deeper waters, where you will no longer fear the  depths of the unknown but freely embrace them.May the Lord illuminate your path and fill you with a hunger and thirst for Him that will never be quenched. May You be awakened to the truth that every heartache and pain you endure/d is a stepping stone, a building block that once the vessel has been made whole in Christ can turn and lead other captives out of the prisons with zeal and joy...Blessing be upon you beloved...I drape you in Love, praise, humility, salvation and righteousness...in the name of Jesus..
