Here's the latest from Mark on the MFBC and Planet Kidz, a kid's ministry. He wrote it for his local paper.
MACQUARIE FIELDS BREAKFAST CLUB HAS HELPED OVER 100 PEOPLE SINCE OPENING.
The Macquarie Fields Breakfast Club, which is located in the Glenquarie Neighbourhood Centre every Thursday, has reached a Milestone in only a relatively short period of time. Since opening it’s doors this year the Breakfast Club has helped in excess of 104 people (And the year is not ended) and there have been some amazing stories.
We mention one particular Gentleman (Whose name we changed for this article) we’ll call him Bob. Bob was 52 years old and had been unemployed for 2 years. When Bob first came to the Breakfast Club his phone was cut off, his car was unregistered and in essence life wasn’t very good for Bob. After 6 weeks of being a regular attendee to the Breakfast Club and 62 Job Applications later, Bob Scored himself a wonderful job. He now has an attractive salary, a company car and best of all a smile on his face.
The Macquarie Fields Breakfast Club is open Thursday from 8:00am to 10:00am to help you with your entire job seeking requirements. We offer a delicious full cooked breakfast to all our job seekers. We provide for you, help with resumes, phone, Internet and fax facilities, local and city newspapers as well as all the newly listed jobs for the day (off the internet).
The Macquarie Fields Breakfast Club, a work of the welfare wing of Liverpool Christian Life Centre receives no Government Funding and isn’t paid for helping people. They are simply here to serve you…and help our Community.

MACQUARIE FIELDS KIDS VISIT PLANET KIDZ….
Every Sunday afternoon the bus from Planet Kidz rumbles along to Macquarie Fields ready to be met my a large group of excited Macquarie Fields kids. They then take a short journey to Liverpool Christian Life Centre located on the corner of Hoxton Park Rd and Illaroo rd Hoxton Park. Planet Kidz is a world of excitement complete with programs especially created for kids.
The kids of Macquarie Fields are treated to games and prizes, short stories, Videos and Popcorn and most of all the kids are encouraged to become the best they can be in all they do. They are equipped with the principles that they will need to help them become valuable contributing members of society as they grow in maturity. Kids are rewarded for honesty and fairness, helping others and many more valuable principles that are set to ensure them a great chance at life.
