Is it just me, or does that story just hit you hard? I never really paid any attention to it, but just recently I read God Chasers and I finally understood the indepth meaning. Praise God that there are things on this earth that we can give up for Him! Praise be to Jesus! Hallelujah!
With the love of a fellow GodChaser, Mary's Alabaster Box

I understand.. You don't know the cost...you don't know...you don't know...you don't know...the cost of the ointment in my alabaster box.... But God does know.... Is He trying to give us a little sweet smelling savor?

This may sound odd, hopefully someone else may have had this thought as well. I have often heard it said that the smell of the perfume in the alabaster box was a fragrance that Christ took to the grave. And how that as he hung on the cross, the smell of one persons act of love reminded him that all wasn't in vain. My question is this, when Jesus ascended into heaven, I wonder was the "fragrance of love" still on him and when he went before the Father, was the "fragrance" still present? I remember reading in the Bible about how the prayers of the saints go up like incense before God, but for our Lord to go into the presence of the Father fragranced with a prayer, one persons sacrifice... Awww, one can only wonder, just wonder. This is just something to ponder..."sweet ponderings" to you all.
He is still God just be still and know that He is God...,Linh
