Forget yourself and get lost in the Lord Jesus Christ! Lose all your idenity in the Son of God. Let Him become your all in all. Seek only the Lord and let Him be glorified. Then you will have gifts and grace and wisdom. God is waiting for the person who will lay all on the altar.
God want us to enter into the rest of faith. He desires us to have all confidence in Him. He purposes that His Word will be established in our hearts; and as we believe His Word we will see that all things are indeed possible.
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1
We have total access to God every minute of every hour of every day. Not only in prayer but by His Word. When we read the scripture or pray we must purpose in our hearts that we are going to obey every percept. We must never open God's Word or pray carelessly or indifferently. This is where our authority comes from. This is where our spiritual gifts come from. This is where our spiritual fruit comes from.
We can never go wrong by always exalting the Lord Jesus Christ and by making Him Lord of your life. Because it is the Holy Spirit who shows us how to use our authority, gifts and then exhibits the fruit from them. No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
"Behold I have come to do your will O God." Heb. 10:9 We must surrender in this way because then and only then is God delighted to hand us a gift. The more we are purposed that it is all Jesus the more people will be conscious of Him and not our gift.
How inexhaustible is the treasure house of God! How near He is to us when we are willing to draw near to Him. And how He comes and refreshes us when our hearts are attuned to Him and desire Him alone. "The desire of the righteous will be granted." Prov. 10:24

Amen Godskid. Bless your heart for sharing this. I watched Charles stanlet today. He spoke of almost the same thing. It appears God is intensifying His pull to us to get closer to Him. He is so glorious. Praise His name.
