You asked if we could really have all of Him.  I don't think that's possible until we are complete in Him when we are in Heaven.  What really matters is that we are pursuing that goal.  Living our lives every day with the thought that all we really want is to be consumed with a passion and a zeal for the Lord.  He sees our heart and our motives and our passionate pursuit of Him will, I believe, cause Him to honor the cry of our heart and push us into the place where we are emptied of ourselves.  We may never truly be emptied, but we are being progressively emptied.
