I just wanted to share my "new mercy" from God this morning.
First of all let me start by saying at my Pastor's Anniversary I heard the song "I can Only Imagine" for the first time. This lady did a praise dance to it. And between the words and her interpretation, I could only cry before God.
This morning I was saying to God how I need to hear that song again, but I didn't know who sung it. My friend had given me a CD by LaShelle Griffin (She was the winner of Oprah's version of American Idol). I happened to put that in the CD player this morning and went back into my bedroom to write in my journal. This morning it seemed I was just writing a love letter to Jesus, when all of a sudden I heard the words to the chorus of that song. I went to the living room where the song was playing and I couldn't believe it. This was the first time I played the CD and she is not the person who was singing the song on tape at my Pastor's Anniversary. But God let me hear it today.
