Dear Mr. & Mrs. Tenney,
I want to send you a brief note of thanks. God has used you to challenge me to pursue His presence with a passion. My ministry partner, Sonia Lee, gave me your book, The God Chasers, last year as a gift. She and I lead the singles ministry at Cooper City Church of God. (I am also facilitating our Sunday morning adult class using the study guide from The God Catchers.) I could not put the book down. I cried. I praised God. I rejoiced.
Now, a year later I realize it was the anointed words of your book that confirmed my decision to ask Sonia to marry me. I am truly grateful to you and your family and to God; for He has molded you and yours to serve Him with your whole heart.
Sonia and I sincerely appreciate how the anointing on your lives has joined ours. We plan to wed October 11, 2003. I just wanted to encourage you to carry on. It is worth every tear and every heart ache. For God continues to use your gifts to affect millions of people. Thanks for touching ours.

Brad, just a quick note in reply to your lovely words! I just want to commend you on the way you refer to your bride-to-be here. You refer to her as your ministry partner, rather than "my girlfriend" or even "my fiancee". I think in our society it is too easy for Christian youngsters to forget that our relationships with those we will wed are not something we decided to do, nor are they just a way of having fun whilst ministering. You clearly realise that God has brought you and Sonia together, and that He deemed you to be in ministry together. That is the purpose of your marriage; to further the kingdom of God, and if it was not, God would not have chosen for you to become one.
God bless you and I pray you have a life of happiness of serving the Lord together.
