Hello, my beloved brothers and sisters in the Lord.  This is the first time I write a testimony of the Lord's doing and I am excited about it.  God does intervene in people's lives and it feels great to rejoice in His work.
I recently posted a message with a prayer request about a student of mine who needs a personal experience with God. He is a very rationalistic individual who calls himself an "agnostic", says he believes that "God is nature", and stuff like that.  The Lord has given me the privilege of developing a close relationship with this young man, who enjoys talking with adults about philosophy, science, and similar topics.  I have made some modest attempts at apologetics with him, but to no result.  I have come to really internalize that there is no apologetical argument that can turn a heart to an experience with the Lord if the power of  His Spirit is not in action.
Recently, chatting with him in an instant messenger conversation, we got to a rather difficult deadlock in our "apologetical" conversation. After that, I've felt that the Lord is leading me to pray for him rather than only contend with him using arguments.  I have been praying that the Holy Spirit unsettles his world and his system of beliefs, and that he has an experience like Paul's in the road to Damascus.  Soon after the Lord directed me to pray more specifically for him, we had another conversation via instant messenger where he admitted that he felt empty.  This might sound very modest, but knowing this kid, for me it is evidence of the work of the Holy Spirit in his life.
Please excuse this lengthy post, but my enthusiasm is quite evident and I wanted to share the details with you.
Please help me pray that God brings a powerful revelation of His presence and love to this young man, and that he accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior.  Please also pray that the devil cannot steal any seeds that the Lord is planting in his heart. Also pray that I can be of use in his life, if the Lord so desires. Thank you  very much for your prayers!

Heavenly Father, for the gift of salvation for the this student...

Your Word tells us, "The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God" (2 Cor. 4:4).

There is no wall of any heart that You can not penetrate. Proverbs 21:1 - The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord ; he directs it like a watercourse wherever he pleases.

Father I pray that Satan will not be able to steal the seeds of truth even as You send Your children to minister to him and that nothing else will be able to destroy the seeds.

We pray that the Word becomes revelation through the lifting of the veil from his vision and perception in his minds.

Lord I pray that the root of pride be broken. I pray he will come to true repentance by the Power and Authority in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Yours In The Vineyard, Amareno
"As the deer panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee oh Lord" (Psalm 42:1)

Lord Jesus Christ it is your love and your grace and your glory that leads to repentance.
When they see the Beautiful Jesus I know..Hope is born in them...So
   Tell them of my mercy
   Tell them of my grace
   Tell them of a Savior
Who died and took their place...

   Show them of the Treasure
   Inside them I did place
   Give them hope
   and lift them up...
   Oh look into my Face...

I AM the one who loves them
I AM the God they face
I AM the God that loves them
   I AM amazing GRACE!

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ I pray that the Holy Spirit will fall on this person in a glorious way..and that he will be SAVED! We stand united in this prayer for the rescue of a soul.   Amen.
