Hi there....many years ago when I was 19....I had a drowning accident in the ocean. The waves were bad and the undertowe was tremendous. I got knocked down by a big wave and taken out by the undertowe. Before I knew it was way out and not a good swimmer. I couldnt figure out which way the shore was becuase the waves were to big and I was struggling to keep my head above water. After trying everything I could think of...I finally exhausted my energy and started floating face down in the ocean. Water was rushing in and out of my lungs like air normally would. I remember thinking at first that I was going to shark food. But then it all hit me....I kept thinking my family was going to be so disappointed because they were never going to see me again. One guy made it to me I guess to try and save me but after a few seconds he kicked off of my chest and swam away.....It sounds crazy but he looked rather evil. At that point I was really thinking hard on how my family was never going to see me again. I felt very sad for them. All the while water kept rushing in and out of my lungs. Then it happened. I saw the face of Jesus....it was like I he was right behind me. Then I felt a giant hand...a hand that engulfed my entire body.....then.....the hand lifted me out of the water. As I was rising out of the water I remember saying over and over again...Oh God...Oh God...Oh God.......well apparently a man drug me out of the water and took up near a sand dune and left me there. He never said a word to me and didnt stay either. Before I knew it some girls came over sat me up and so much water started coming out of me.....and I mean a lot of water coming out of me!!! They stayed with me until the ambulance got there. I went on to spend four days in the hospital. It was amazing. I think the man that pulled me out was an angel. Working for God. I truly felt that hand pull me out. WoW. And you know it didn't even dawn on me how significant that was until about 23 years later. Now I think of it all the time. Why me? Why me? But then again why not me?

Hi there......CRose......Thank you for your response.....you know what's really funny is that at work we sing or hum that very song sometimes.......I really feel honored by the fact that I had that experience.......and it's interesting that most people I tell it to are very touched but there are some people that just dont believe it.......Talk to you soon....my name is Mark by the way..........im in Jacksonville...Florida....

Hi TouchbyGod - Your testimony reminds me of a classmate's story I heard once. We had to break into small groups and write an auto-biography. She shared her story about drowning and being saved. When I first started reading your testimony I wondered if it was her! It ended differently for her, after she came back into her body, she was violently thrown into rocks and was badly cut and bruised. After becoming a Christian, she was severly plagued by deomonic activity. Actual warfare. I have to wonder if God has such a purpose for her and all of hell came against her to keep it from happening. I truly appreciated her sharing her experience as I do you. God is bringing this to your mind, journey in, find what He wants to show you. I'll be praying for your revelation.
