of all of the names God has that is the one i love the most. Im 18yrs old and i never knew the love of a father growin up.Yeah my dad was always there providing for us watever we needed,but the one thing he never gave me was love.i used to look at my friends and the relationships they had with their dads and i jus wished i could have father who could love me like that.love was a very foreign thing in our house .the closest iv ever been to my dad is a handshake and that's it.
over the years i learned to bottle the pain and that really affected the way i treated other people around me.because i never knew love i was never able to give it and because i needed it so much i jus kept lookin for it in all the wrong places.God saved me wen i was 12yrs but i never had a close relationshipb with him until this year.around May this year my world caved in,all the anger and hurt id been keepin jus came out. at the same time i had jus met this guy from school and it seemed like he always knew wat to say and how to comfort me. i knew he wasnt a believer but i agreed to go out with him anyway coz i thot that if i refused then i would have noone else to comfort me.the next day he called me up and he sed oh i cant wait to hold you....and i jus thot to myself this guy is only after one thing so i broke up with him.after that i felt such an emptiness like i have never felt before.this guy had been there for me wen i needed a friend,wat was i gonna do without him.that night i wept before God for hours and hours,i have never wept like that my entire life .i jus said God i need you,i kno i have sinned against you but i need u .
its been about 3mnths now and i am glad to say that God has healed my heart.Truly he has rescued me and has become a father to me.i am always amazed wen i think about wat God has done for a sinner like me.iv never allowed myself to get close to guys coz i felt they were all out to abuse me but God has set me free.i am in no hurry to fall in love but i am glad that i am fallin in love with my Maker.

i stand before you lord with my heart open wide.I have one desire, that will i seek and even though the mountains may fall and the earth be removed my desire will remain.Father i have heard of your faithfullness and the awesome deeds your right hand has done and Lord you are worthy of all our praises. Night and day creation worships at your footstool givin you glory but lord,if you could only keep creation silent for just one day and hear me.
this is my cry and my one desire, to be where you are, to be with you all my days.And Father if you could silence creation for one more day i will jus say how much i love you,how much i adore you and how much i need you.lord you are my desire and my everything,draw me close to you.And Lord jus one last day and i will say thank you for loving me.you gave me a love much deeper than i have ever known and you offered my life a brand new start.you gave me a love that cozd my heart to overflow,a love sent straight from heaven to my heart.thank you Lord for your unconditional and undying love.

Dear Lord I thank You for Your Fatherly role in our lives. I thank You that You never leave nor forsake us. I thank You because You never forsake us. I thank you because You nver give up on us...I thank You because You are One that We can lean on in and out of season.
