Around 5 years ago in the spring of 1997 I was born again through watching TBN. A few months later I went through the trial of a life time of which I have mentioned in my testimony of the dark cloud. As I was going through this trial, life became very meaningless, and empty. I started to hunger for something, and I didn't know quite what I was hungering for. I just longed for something that this life could not offer me. A year after I was born again I switched switched churches, and went to a charasmatic church. The first Sunday that I went to this church I was filled with the Holy Ghost and began speaking in tongues. However I was still not satisfied. I was still hungry. I didn't know what I was hungry for, but I kept seeking God. Until one day I went to the Library of my church, and found a book called Good Morning Holy Spirit. When I went home that night I started reading this book, but I could not put it down, and I could not even sleep. I read this book for a few days until I finished it. After I was done reading it I was disappointed, because I read of this man of God's experiences, and I wanted to experience God in the same way. It didn't happen. After a few days I picked up the book again, and began reading it all over again. I started to do what this man was saying to do. The man who wrote this book by the way was Benny Hinn. Benny said in his book to invite the Holy Spirit into your life. So I began to invite the Holy Spirit into my life. I did not notice anything at first, but little by little I began to notice my life started changing. My relationship with God changed, my prayer life changed. Everything changed. The Presence of God became real to me. Everything became beautiful, rich, and meaningful again. I just encourage those who want a deeper walk with God, or feel like their Christian life is meaningless, to invite the Holy Spirit into their lives. How do you this you may ask? You just start talking to the Holy Spirit, and you invite Him into your life. You cannot know the ways of God if you ignore God's Spirit. Stop ignoring the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is a person. He is not a force, a power, a mist, or an it. The Holy Spirit is a person. The Holy Spirit is just such a beautiful person. He is so kind, so gentle, and full of life, for the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life. He is the Spirit of grace, the Spirit of love, the Spirit of wisdon, truth, understand, knowledge, wise counsel, and so much more. Get to know the Holy Spirit, and your life will change.
I say these things with all my heart, and remember always to seek to dwell in the Most Holy Place. Gary, by sweetlove.

Dearest Brother this has re-kindle that flame for the holy Spirit in my heart. Thank you for your testimony and i pray that it would abide. OFr th rest of us...we go back to our closet and cry out to the Holy Ghost to come in a new way to our lives...continue to cry until He fills us to overflowing that others may see Him in the way we live and inter-relate with others. Amen!
Yours In The Vineyard, Amareno "As the deer panteth after the waterbrooks, so panteth my soul after thee oh Lord" (Psalm 42:1)

Thank you dear brother. I needed to read this today. As I was reading your tesyimony, I could feel a stirring of the holy Spirit. I will seek the book "Good Morning Holy Spirit" and read it. I must share this with you. I was ministeres to by the Holy Spirit earlier this year when I would watch Benny Hinn, as I was going through a depression and a very low time in my life. The Spirit turned me inside out and layers of rebellion and pain dropped away. In its place there was a fervent, passionate desire for god and all of God's children, especially the "lost ones", walking in darkness. I became a prayer warrior and felt the burden to lift others to our Lord. Praise God!! Indeed He is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Please come back and continue. Your testimony has indeed been a blessing. The Holy Spirit spoke to me as I was reading your words. He is stirring me even now. God bless you. Brenda
Godspeed

Hi Brinny. I am just responing to you. I sure glad you were touched by the Spirit as you were reading this. You see I did not notice a change in my life, and I was not satisfied until I really came to the place of knowing the Holy Spirit. I am not saying when I was born again there was no change, because there a change in my life. There always is a change when someone is born again. However until you really get to know the Holy Spirit of God you will not progress in your Christian life. I am speaking more than a baptism of the Holy Spirit. I am speaking of knowing the Holy Spirit Himself. When Jesus left and ascended to His Father, He sent the Holy Spirit to do the works of Christ on the earth, and in each individaul life. The Holy Spirit is one like Christ. In fact, the Holy Spirit is Christ in the Spirit if I can say it like that. I have come to realize through the things I have read, and the things I have been taught through my Christian brothers and sisters. That we need more than gifts, we need the Presence and the power of the Holy Ghost. Brinny the gifts of the Spirit may not change your life, but the Presence and the power will. That is something I have learned from Benny Hinn, and so many other great things. Until I really came to know the Spirit, I was not satisified, and I would not be satisfied. Nothing would satisfy me. I would pray in tounges, I would read my Bible, I would pray, I would worship, but nothing was satisfying me. I didn't know why this was. I mean all these things are good things that Christians need to be doing in order to grow right? This is true, but you need to know the Holy Spirit for all these things to become real and meaningful. How is it possible to worship, love, and walk with God unless you know Him. The Holy Spirit is the one who reveals God to our hearts. He is the one who reveals the Word to us. He is the one who helps us pray. You will find this in Benny Hinn's book when you read it. I just encourage you get to know the Holy Spirit of God. If you want anymore insight I would be glad to share, and if you need other things that you may be searching for I would be glad to share it with you.
I say these things with all my heart, and remember always to seek to dwell in the Most Holy Place. Gary, by sweetlove.
