The Trumpet The year two thousand and three! A year of laughter, A year of unlimited possibilities, A year of divine visitation, A year of supernatural encounters....have you seen those slogans? I have and I see them every year. These days though I chuckle and wonder why Christians limit what God would do in that year. You see God doesn't work in time or according to calendars but in God there are seasons and in the Book of Ecclesiastes, the Bible says, "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1 And so there will be seasons of laughter, mourning, joy, challenge, promotion, quietnness but our prayer must be that whatever God brings our way this year or in years to come, we are in a position to recieve it knowing that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. You would laugh in 2003 if you realise that everything that happens to you is working out for your good. 2003 would be a year of unlimited possibilities if you listen to the voice of the Spirit and recognise that your successes and failures are there to elevate you, you only need to look for the opportunity each situation presents. This season, the Lord says He has subdued mountains before you. He has heard those desperate prayers and you need to recognise that and see those things done through the eyes of faith. Rejoice because what ever your IT is has been done in the mighty name of Jesus. What you must now do is to let faith arise in you. When that happens you will begin to recognise and walk through those doors that the Lord has opened on your behalf. I look forward to hearing your testimonies of new jobs, new ministries, new frontiers, deeper relationships, restored marraiges, salavation, healing, promotion, marraiges, children , cars, new homes, and whatever the Lord blesses you with.
