Discussion Topic: God told my wife to divorce me |

My wife is a Godchaser, she believes she hears God's voice actually speaking to her and the things that he tells her can't be found in scripture,,at least I can't find it
Would any of you who read this please help me
I'm not a spiritual as my wife says she is, but, now the divorce is final, and I'm trying hard to get my family back together.
I've been up and down with her emotionally
Do any of you believe that God would really tell her such a thing as she says he did?
Please pray for Mark and Janae and their family that God would reunite them and restore their family.

Dear Heavenly Father I lift this family up to you. Lord you know everything about Mark and Janae. You know the number of hairs on their heads. Father God I ask that you would work in this situation to heal the pain that is evident in your son's letter. Father you know all things and you know that you have said in your word that You have divorce. Lord you also said that except for adultery that we shall not divorce. And Lord you also said that if an unbeliever wishes to depart from a Christian spouse that they have to let them go. Lord you know about this situation and Father God I ask that you will come forth and heal this family. Lord I pray that you will speak to Janae in the midnight hour and tell her the right way to go. Father God if there has been abuse in this relationship I pray that true repentance will come to pass with them. Lord let Godly sorrow and true repentance restore this family even now. Lord I pray that the brokenness of their hearts be restored even now in the name of Jesus. Lord heal them and show Mark how to cast his cares upon you because You care for him. Lord speak to Mark's heart and let him know that he is blessed of the Lord and that he has Your righteousness living on the inside of him. Lord restore his confidence and bless him to know that a broken and a contrite spirit You will not despite. Finally Lord I ask that you will heal and restore this family even now in Jesus name. Amen.

I haven't been to this message board in awhile, and was stunned by this one. Eagle1 wrote an awesome,anointed prayer; it just prayed it too. Let us know how things are going now, so whoever else finds your request can pray w/ knowledge.

God Bless You Mark and may the Lord God's will be done in your lives. I do know that God Almighty would never tell someone to divorce anyone because he is holy and therefore can not sin or tempt anyone else to sin.May the Lord God comfort you at this time and continue to pray for her as well. I know that this is a hard thing to do but believe me the power of prayer is just awesome! Hang in there and may the peace that passes all understanding be yours.

God hates divorce. He never leads us contray to the Word. You did not say why so she must be upset to a degree for the marriage to go on the rocks. What did you do are not doing? Sometimes men don't realize women are different from men and you may be wounding her emotionally so she is shut down from listening to you. Abuse is sometimes a reason women need to sever the relationship. You should see a marriage counslor if you want your marriage to work.

This is so true. And things like this do not happen in vacuums, for no apparent reason. I hope and pray that by now you have sought why this happened, and begun to seek God (including counseling help) for restoration.
